Overview

Path automatically subscribes eligible students to workshops based on their prerequisite completion and the time available before the workshop starts.

A workshop shown in a student’s Path represents an opportunity to join, not a guaranteed reservation. A spot is secured only when a student completes all required prerequisites.

Workshop Subscription

Path subscribes students who:

  • Have completed all workshop prerequisites.
  • Have not yet completed the prerequisites but still have enough time to complete them before the workshop starts.

Path continues subscribing eligible students even when the number of subscribers exceeds the workshop’s capacity.

When a Workshop Is Considered Full

A workshop is considered full only when all available spots are secured by students who have completed the prerequisites.

For example, if a workshop has 16 spots and 7 students have completed all prerequisites, the workshop is shown as 7/16.

The workshop remains available in the Path of eligible students who have not yet completed the prerequisites until all 16 spots are secured.

When All Spots Are Secured

Once all available spots are secured by students who have completed the prerequisites:

  • The workshop is considered full.
  • Students who have not completed the prerequisites are unsubscribed.
  • No additional students can secure a spot for that workshop.

Workshop Status in Path

Workshops whose prerequisites are not yet complete are displayed in a different style.

When a student hovers over the workshop icon, they can see:

  • Workshop capacity
  • Number of spots already secured
  • Prerequisite activities that are still incomplete

The nearest upcoming workshop is marked with a clock badge to draw students’ attention to it.
