When a student begins the self-learning process in TUMO, they start with the Orientation phase of Path. This phase helps the student get familiar with TUMO and guides them in selecting their future skills.

Before You Begin

  • Ensure that the student has access to TUMO World.

What is Orientation

TUMO offers students a selection of 14 different skills (the exact number may vary depending on your TUMO Center) and two phases: Self-learning and Workshops. The Orientation phase is the first stage of self-learning, where students explore all available skills.

During Orientation, each skill corresponds to an activity. Students are introduced to all 14 skills through these activities. (See screenshot below.)

How to Complete the Orientation Phase

In TUMO World, there are two self-learning phases: Orientation and Path. At the top center of the interface, you will see 7 circles. Each circle represents an Awarded activity required for the student to advance to the Path phase. (The number of activities may vary depending on your TUMO Center.)

Important Tip: Only activities marked as Awarded count toward completion. Activities in Pending or Review status do not count.
