Before establishing Permanent Workshops, it's essential to create an Event Schedule Template, which is built upon two self-learning schedules of the Hub.
Creating an Event Schedule Template
To do this:
Navigate to the System > Schedule Templates Page: “Events” subsection.
Use the filter located in the header to select your specific center location.
Click on the “Create New Schedule Template” button to start the template creation process.
Select “Session 1”. Click to open the list of self-learning schedules and choose one for the first weekday.
Select “Session 2”. Repeat the process to choose a self-learning schedule for the second weekday.
Name your “Schedule Template”. After selecting schedules for both sessions, the system will propose a name based on your selections. You can edit it to create a custom name manually.
Select current location self-learning sessions to link with the event schedule template.
Click the “Save” button to complete the creation of “Event Schedule Template”.
Selecting Self-Learning Sessions Eligible for Subscription
After creating an Event Schedule Template, the next step involves selecting the appropriate self-learning sessions to ensure accurate student enrollment.
This step ensures that the system can precisely align students with the self-learning sessions tied to their selected event schedule template, guaranteeing enrollment in the correct events.
Linking Self-Learning Sessions
To link the Tumo boxes' self-learning session to the event schedule template, follow these steps:
Switch from the hub location to a box location from the header.
Click on the already created template’s “Select session” input field.
Choose self-learning sessions from the list.
Click "Save" to apply the changes.
Important Note Event Schedule Templates are exclusively created and deleted for Tumo Hub Centers, where workshops are hosted. Tumo Box Centers are to adopt the Event Schedule Templates from their associated Hub Centers. This ensures a unified approach to learning and resource distribution across the Tumo network.
Deleting Schedule Templates
To remove an Event Schedule Template from the system:
Click on the “Recycle Bin” Button next to the schedule template you wish to delete.
Verify No Registered Students: Ensure there are no students currently registered in workshops using that template. If students are registered, the system will display an error message:
“The template can not be deleted. Workshops using this template have subscribed students.”
