After registering at TUMO, student statuses are used to reflect the student’s current level of attendance and engagement within the program.
Before You Begin
Ensure you have access to the TUMO World and T360 environments in order to better understand and visualize the information presented.
Student Account Statuses
Account statuses may change automatically (based on attendance and progress) or manually by staff members. Below is a detailed overview of each status and its meaning.
- Pre-Registered
Students who register via the online registration form are assigned a Pre-Registered status in T360. This status remains until a staff member verifies the student’s information and manually updates it to Registered. - From here, staff move the account to Registered or Closed.
- Registered
This is the default status when a student account is created in T360. It indicates that the student’s information exists in the system but they have not yet attended any sessions. Upon the student’s first login to TUMO World, the status automatically changes to Active. - Logging in for the first time also activates the student’s Google account.
- Active
Indicates that the student is currently participating normally in self-learning sessions and workshops, without any scheduled absences according to center policies. - From Active, staff can move the account to any status except Freeze, which is applied automatically by the system.
- Freeze
This status is assigned automatically when a student has been absent for four consecutive weeks (may vary depending on center-specific rules). - The student’s regular schedule and individual coach remain unchanged.
- Upon returning to TUMO World, the status automatically reverts to Active without manual intervention.
- Freeze can’t be assigned manually by staff — it’s applied and lifted automatically. It’s also the only status that can move to any other status.
- Pre-Closed
This status can be assigned either automatically or manually. It is triggered when a student has been absent for eight or more consecutive weeks (rules may vary by center).
When returning, the student cannot reactivate the account through login alone; a coach must manually change the status to Active in T360.
The student’s schedule and coach remain unchanged.
- Closed
This status is manually assigned by staff when a student decides to discontinue their studies during the onboarding phase, and has not attended any workshops or learning labs. - Closing an account requires selecting a Reason from the center’s configured list of termination reasons. If the student already has an assigned Phase (T, U, M, or O), the account can’t be moved to Closed — Alumni is used instead.
The student loses their individual coach and regular schedule.
⚠️ Important: Parents must be informed prior to closing the account, as the student will no longer be able to participate in TUMO afterwards.
- Alumni
Students who have successfully completed TUMO. - Assigning Alumni also requires a Reason. If a center has Phase Configuration enabled, Alumni can only be assigned to a student who already has an assigned Phase. If the student has no personal email on file, staff are prompted to add one or continue without it.
They do not participate in self-learning sessions.
They may participate in Special Workshops.
Their regular schedule and coach are removed.
- Suspended
Manually assigned to students who are temporarily unable to attend due to: - Assigning Suspended requires selecting a suspension Reason (type) and an end date. Each type has its own allowed date range, set by the center.
Being away from the city/country
Illness or other valid reasons preventing attendance
Absences are still recorded but marked as Excused or may not be counted against the student, depending on center policy.
Note: Staff can view a full history of status changes — including who made each change and when — from the history icon next to Status on the Account page.
